State v. Troy Scott Jordan | Bond Hearing Transcript | January 20, 2026

Troy Scott Jordan appeared in court January 20, 2026 for his bond hearing before Louisiana’s 22nd Judicial District Judge Reginald T. Badeaux, III.

Judge Badeaux granted Donna Arceneaux’s alleged killer, Troy Scott Jordan, a bond reduction. The new $500,000 bond, reduced from the original $2,000,000 bond, was satisfied by a bail bondsman, costing Mr. Jordan a reported $40,000.

Most shockingly, though, was when Mr. Jordan’s legal team put him on the stand. This decision, of course, allowed the prosecution to also question him.

Sources report that Mr. Jordan’s girlfriend was reprimanded twice for attempting to signal advice to him while on the stand, as well as comment on certain statements being made during proceedings.

As of January 25, 2026, Freeze Frame is exclusively releasing the official transcript, which can be viewed in full below. It’s quite the “My Cousin Vinny” experience. 😉
